The twelve zodiac animals change at the Spring Festival each year, in the order of: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig, and the cycle repeats. To find the corresponding zodiac number, take the last two digits of the lunar year, divide by 12, and add 1.
