Obtain Your True Solar Time At Birth

Local Clock Time

1. You can ask your parents about your exact birth date and time, as well as your birthplace. 

**Example**: March 7, 1993, 7:20 AM, Apple Park.

Accurate True Solar Time

2.  Use the following tool to convert your birth time into the accurate true solar time by entering “longitude, time zone, and whether it's Daylight Saving Time”.

Input1: longitude

 a. If your current location is near your birthplace, use the tool's "Get Current Location" feature directly.

b. If your current location is not near your birthplace, first obtain the longitude of your birthplace using Google Maps and calculate the corresponding time zone.

Instructions for obtaining longitude from Google Maps:

For PC:

Open Google Maps (maps.google.com).

Enter the location of your birthplace in the search bar.

Once you find the location, hover your mouse pointer over it and right-click (on Mac, hold Ctrl and click).

In the pop-up menu, select "What's here?" or a similar option, which will display a small pop-up window containing latitude and longitude information. Note that coordinates are usually displayed in decimal degrees, such as "40.7128° N, 74.0060° W".

For Mobile:

In the Google Maps mobile app, simply drop a pin. Open Google Maps and tap or long-press to place a pin.

On Android, you will see the coordinates in the search box at the top.

On iPhone, swipe up to display details at the bottom, and you will see the coordinates.

**Example Result**: Apple Park 122°00'32.5"W 

Input2: time zone

Time Zone Number = Longitude / 15 (Round to the nearest whole number if there is a decimal)

**Example Result**: 122° W / 15 is approximately 8, which is the Western 8th Zone. Enter -8 in the tool for the Western Hemisphere.

Input3: whether it's daylight saving time

**Example Result**: USA, CA, March 7, 1993, was not under Daylight Saving Time.

【Input Notes】: When entering 122°00'32.5"W, enter 122.00, choose W, and enter -8 for the time zone.
